Day 9

7:40 Awake before alarm.

8:00 Alarm, but I’m already checking emails on my phone.

8:15 Up and at em! Morning weigh in.

8:47 Breakfast. Coffee, chili, spinach, water. You would think I would be bored with chili by now, but I’m really not. It’s a good hearty dish that keeps me moving through lunch time.

11:58 Having a monster salad for lunch. A chopped chicken breast, spinach, carrots, broccoli, all tossed with balsamic vinegar. I didn’t get through the whole salad. Ate all of the veggies, but left some of the chicken, which is causing me to be hungry this afternoon. Fortunately, I have a garlic pulled pork meal in the crock pot just waiting to be devoured in a bit.

5:12 Dinner! Refried beans with some Franks Red Hot, steamed broccoli, and some pulled pork. HOLY SHIT this pulled pork is good. It’s absolutely not “date night” friendly because of the ridiculous amount of garlic, but it’s absolutely delicious. The beans had just enough Frank’s in them to offset the taste of beans. Aaron isn’t a huge fan of beans, but I needed the extra protein in the meal. Mixing the pork with the beans is a FANTASTIC combo. I tried Aaron to try it that way, and we both decided that that would be the “optimal delivery method”.

I’m pretty sure I just found my new favorite meal. Oh refried beans, why must you be so high in sodium…

I avoided the remainder of the Oreo filled chocolate chip cookies tonight. Kind of prouf of myself. After 1.5days of cheat, it I needed to focus today so I can keep the rest of my week on track. I did have a cup of black coffee, which seems to help curb my appetite in the evenings if I get hungry.
